About the project

Las Américas Tenerife is the independent guide to the residential and holiday complexes, hotels and resorts of Playa de las Américas, in the south of Tenerife.

What you will find

• An interactive map of every complex in the area: click a building to open its page.
• Detailed profiles: type of property, category, pools, facilities, accessibility, parking, holiday-let rules, distance to the beach and to the nearest amenities.
• Exterior and interior photos uploaded by people who have stayed or live there.
• Reviews and ratings with an overall score plus scores for location, cleanliness, upkeep, quietness and value for money.

Where the data comes from

Each page is curated by our editorial team, who check and update the location, outline and features of every complex by hand. We use OpenStreetMap, the free map built by volunteers worldwide, as a starting point and for the map. Distances to amenities are straight-line and indicative.

The community helps us keep the pages up to date too: if you spot a mistake, use the “Report an error” button on each page.

How reviews work

You need a free account to write a review, upload photos or comment. Every contribution is checked before it goes live to keep the site useful and trustworthy. We never publish paid reviews and never change users' ratings.
